Class-sizes may be smaller, and safety protocols tighter, it was those Zoom meetings (when they couldn’t meet in person) that created bonds between students before they even arrived back at the golf course. It was a great use of technology for the interim, kept the chapter student participation active, and ready to return to the links when they could. Improved processes came out of this challenging time. First Tee as an organization has contributed to my daughter becoming a wonderful human being and an emerging leader as the educator she is. She’s not only a great golfer with a passion for the game holistically, she is an amazing coach who is deeply appreciated by her students, their parents, and her peers; she is an inspiration to the adults in her life. Part of her solid foundation IS everything she ever has learned in First Tee since she was a young child. I am so pleased the chapters have weathered the storm of this pandemic so far.
